Have you noticed in Google.com here is left corner you can see the text written change your background image.

This is one in the left corner in circle yes click on this link.

Then a change  Background" Link, then you'll see a pop-in window.

 You may select from your Picasa Web photos or you may upload one from your computer it depends on your choice.

It appears your new picture on Google home page
