Microsoft's New Phones For social media

Microsoft Corp. introduced 2 phones toward young consumers, seeking to improve its fortunes in the mobile business through a device designed around social-networking features.The two phones, dubbed Kin One and Kin Two, were designed by Microsoft with touch-sensing screens and slide-out physical keyboards.Both Kin models—part of a project at Microsoft that has touch screens and physical keyboards that slide out so users can type messages on them. Microsoft created the software that runs on both Kin phones so users can keep track of updates, photos and other information shared by friends through social-networking services like Twitter and Facebook.

Windows phone 7 series is more than the Microsoft smart phone. Everything's different now.The brand new, totally fresh operating system will appear in phones this year For development, Windows Phone 7 Series will employ XNA, a set of programming tools that makes it easier for game designers to develop games for multiple Microsoft platforms , including Windows XP, Xbox 360, Windows Vista and Windows 7. Now that Windows Phone 7 Series supports XNA, customers will be able to download and play games sold through Microsoft’s online store, Xbox Live Marketplace, which currently serves about 300 titles.Silverlight will serve as the coding toolkit for “rich internet applications.” As Microsoft’s alternative to Adobe Flash, this is not surprising, and potentially gives Windows Phone 7 an edge over phones that don’t support Flash or Silverlight — namely, the iPhone.
